Department of Corrections Dispatches Supervised Offender Work Crews to Remove Hurricane Irene Debris

RICHMOND - Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) offender work crews are assisting with debris removal from the state highway system in areas east of Richmond hardest hit by Hurricane Irene. The participating facilities are Greensville Work Center (Greensville County), Deerfield Work Center and Southampton Detention Center (Southampton County), Haynesville Correctional Unit (Richmond County), and Caroline Correctional Unit (Caroline County).
